Let’s talk color temperature for a moment.  The “color” of a lamp is measured on a “Kelvin” scale.  Think of color temperature this way.  When you walk into Walmart, the lights are “WHITE and BRIGHT” which puts the Kelvin temperature in the 4000K to 5000K range.  Now walk into your favorite upscale restaurant or bar and you’ll be walking into a much warmer (dimmer) environment. The lighting creates a warmer mood or ambiance because the “color” of the light being projected is more “yellow”.  As you move up the Kelvin scale, the light becomes more blue.  Selecting the proper color temperature for your business is very important to your success. Now let’s talk about dimming.  Most LED’s on the market today will dim. HOWEVER, when a traditional LED dims, it essentially puts out LESS light but the color temperature does not change. If the lamp starts out at a 2700K, it will dim to a 2700K.
